Hi, I’m Jordan — a lifestyle photographer based in Bowling Green, KY who loves using natural light to capture candid, joyful moments. My photography style is all about connection, movement, and storytelling. I was born and raised in Littleton, Colorado and still travel back frequently to visit family and friends. Even though it’s grown a lot since I moved away four years ago, I still know the streets, parks, and hidden gems like the back of my hand—making it one of my favorite places to shoot when I'm home!
If you're looking for the perfect Colorado backdrop for your senior, family, maternity, or couples session, you're in the right place! Whether you're dreaming of dreamy mountain views, whimsical flower gardens, or a little downtown charm, Colorado is packed with stunning and unique locations that bring your photos to life. Here are some of my absolute favorite spots in and around the Denver and Littleton areas—and why I keep going back to them again and again!
Matthews/Winters Park – Golden, CO
Matthews/Winters Park is a true Colorado classic. Located just outside of Golden, this spot offers dramatic red rock formations, winding dirt trails, and golden grasses that catch the light beautifully at sunset. It’s perfect for seniors who want that adventurous, outdoorsy feel without a long drive into the mountains. It’s one of my favorite places to go to see mountain views and beautiful creek, not to mention the sunset sessions have a gorgeous light shining through the trees!
Evergreen Lake – Evergreen, CO
Evergreen Lake has that perfect combination of peaceful water, pine trees, and mountain views. It feels like a little escape into the mountains without driving hours from Denver. Between the charming dock, reflective water, and soft evening light, it’s one of my favorite hidden gems. In the fall, the colors around the lake are next-level gorgeous!

Mt. Falcon – Indian Hills/Morrison, CO
Mt. Falcon has all the Colorado vibes: tall grass, mountain trails, wildflowers in the summer, and sweeping views of the Front Range and Red Rocks Amphitheater. The landscape changes with the seasons, and there are so many little tucked-away spots that offer privacy and variety. The red rocks is a unique feature, giving this a top 3 on my favorites list!
Downtown Littleton – Littleton, CO
Downtown Littleton is one of my all-time favorite places for urban-style portraits with a small-town feel. Think brick walls, twinkle lights, colorful buildings and murals, and charming shops. It’s the perfect mix of classic and modern. Seniors love the variety of textures, and it works well for branding sessions or casual family shoots too. Plus, it’s close to several parks for a two-location session!
Hudson Gardens – Littleton, CO
For a soft, garden-inspired backdrop, Hudson Gardens is hard to beat. From tree-lined paths and flowerbeds to rustic wooden bridges and open meadows, it offers a whimsical and romantic atmosphere. This location is stunning in spring and early summer when the flowers are in full bloom. Keep in mind that there is a $50 photography permit fee to have a session here.

Downtown Union Station – Denver, CO
Want a bold, editorial feel with a side of city glam? Union Station is a photographer’s playground. The architecture is stunning, and between the station itself, surrounding streets, and nearby alleys, there’s a ton of variety for more fashion-forward, graffiti walls, or urban-style senior sessions. It’s also beautiful around the holidays with twinkle lights and seasonal decor!
Civic Green Park- Highlands Ranch
Civic Green Park is a scenic and well-designed community space! At first you see a small creek, water fountains and a park for young children. However, the hidden secret of this park are the manicured flower beds along the perimeter of this park. It truly is a hidden favorite right in the middle of a cute park. Located next to the Highlands Ranch Public Library, the park combines lush lawns, water features, gardens, and architectural elements to create a striking backdrop for your senior portraits.

Whether you're leaning toward rustic mountain views or charming cityscapes, these Colorado locations offer something for everyone. I’m always scouting out the best lighting, colors, and textures to make sure your session feels unique to you. If you’re not sure which location fits your vision, I’m happy to help you choose the one that brings your story to life!
I will be in town September 5-8th for special senior portraits of my past students! I am so excited for this weekend! check out the remaining available sessions here.

If you read this blog after September 2025, no fear! I am always traveling home and would love to capture your special portraits! Find more information for sessions here.
