10 Years of Fall in Colorado | A Decade of Sessions, Memories, and Gratitude

Every year, when the leaves start to change and the air turns crisp, I pack my bags and head back to Colorado for my annual fall sessions — and this year marked TEN YEARS of this tradition!

It honestly amazes me how many of my Colorado clients still book with me, even after my move to Kentucky. Every fall, I get to come “home” — to familiar faces, stunning mountain backdrops, and all the golden colors that make Colorado in autumn absolutely magical.
This trip was so much more than a work trip. It’s was a chance to reconnect with family, friends, and clients who’ve become both. So many of these incredible people hold such a special place in my heart — from students I once taught at Front Range Christian School, to friends I’ve known since elementary school, to clients who found me years ago and have stayed with me ever since.
Watching their families grow, year after year, has been one of the greatest joys of my career. Seeing toddlers turn into teens, new babies join the family, and couples celebrate new milestones — it’s a beautiful reminder of how precious time really is.

As I scroll through the galleries from this year’s trip, I can’t help but feel overwhelmingly grateful. How lucky am I to do what I love, to work with the best people, and to call this my career? Colorado will always have my heart — and these sessions will forever be one of my favorite parts of the year.
Here’s to the next decade of laughter, color, and connection in the place where it all began. ❤️
Until next time,
Jordan
